It’s such a beautiful shade, and is unlike any other cream eyeshadow I’ve ever tried. However, the more you apply, the more the shimmer builds up, intensifying the duochrome effect. It can be worn quite sheerly, where it becomes more of a reddy brown shade. Bougie has a warm reddy toned brown base, with duochrome green and blue shimmer, and you can really see the duochrome shift come to life in different lights. If you know MAC Blue Brown Pigment, you’ll love the MAC Bougie Pro Longwear Paint Pot as the colour is almost identical. MAC describes the MAC Bougie Pro Longwear Paint Pot as being a red brown with green pearl, but that description just doesn’t do the shade justice, nor does my swatch. As soon as I saw some swatches, it was a done deal that it was going to be the first shade I bought, and wow was it a good decision. The MAC Bougie Pro Longwear Paint Pot was the shade I was most excited to try, as the description had me sold. If you store them well, they last for years, and I’ve never had an issue where a Paint Pot is dried up, and I owned eight before purchasing a collection of the new shades. I like to store all of my Paint Pots upside down with the shade names facing up, and I feel like it also helps to prevent them from drying out too. You have to ensure you twist the lid as tight as you can, as they can dry up easily if you don’t. The MAC Paint Pots are packaged within clear, glass round jars with black plastic lids. Pro Longwear Paint Pot can be mixed with other products, like M♺♼ shadows and liners.“ Its superior colour purity stays true and will not streak or crease.
